Attitues, Approaches, and tools I will use in the classroom

The tools that I will use like the smart-board and other things like blogging and podcast are so beneficial to me and my students. My attitude is going to be open because you never want to be close minded about things. Because there are always going to be new ways of teaching. My approach is that I'm always going to try something and if it doesn't work then I'm going to try something new. I8 can not wait to start teaching and influence students the way teachers have influenced me.

Topics that are useful and learning about technology

The topics like Randy Pausch's Last lecture was so moving and inspirational. Shows that you can over come anything and push your students to exceed and push themselves to see what there true potential is. Other topics like pod casting is going to be so useful for students so that they can hear the lectures again and be able to understand it just a little bit more. There are so many topics that gave me so many ideas about how i;m going to t6each my students when I become a teacher.

21st Technology In The Classroom and what I will take with me

The things in my EDM
class that I have learned are really going to help me to with my students. And the technology is going to help me with my students and helping them learn new things. I can not wait until I start teaching. With all the new things that are coming out.
I can not wait to take the things that I have learned in this EDM class. That is going to help me so much.

A Little Bit About Me!!!!

My name is Laura Smith I'm 24 years old ,and I'm going to the University of South Alabama. I'm a sophomore getting my elementary education degree. I just recently got engaged to a wonderful man. I use to show horses and we would travel all over the United States. I currently live in fairhope with my parents while I get my degree. My parents and I live on our horse farm. Where we have 3 dogs and about 12 horses. My educational goals are to get my degree and be able to teach children and inspire them. To show them new ways of learning things.

I can not wait to show the kids the new things that I have learned so far. I really believe that teachnology is going to take teaching to the next level and be able to show kids that learning can be fun and exciting. I can not wait to bring that to them. With the things that I have learned like blogging and seeing the things that they have come up with so far to help students learn new things. I can't wait to see what kinds of tools they are going to come out with when I start to teach. I can't wait.
